Tim,
When I didn't see it posted in Model Aviation, I thought maybe your club wasn't going to do it this year. Glad to see they moved the date up a little: late October has shorter days and colder weather than early October.
In fact, we COULD time it with our autumn trip to our property near Madisonville, IF we could find a place to park our camper trailer for a couple of days. Any chance we could 'park' it at the flying site? We don't need hookups, just a place to set it up for Fri & Sat nites.

Jim-
Yes, you may camp at the site just off the flight line. You probably won't be the only people camping. We had quite a few campers last year and I am hoping for more this year as the weather should be warmer. I am thinking we might be able to fly a B-25 mission together. At the very least, maybe I can just get some fighter support from that good looking P-51! I know you will have a Corsair...will you be bringing any other warbirds?
By the way here is a photo of our raffle prize. This would look good in anyones hanger!

You're a one man Air Force and the real advantage is you can fight for any number of countries!! It will be worth the landing fee just to see you get all those planes in that Mini Cooper of yours.
I just found out that Extreme Flight RC has donated some very nice plane stands.

That is a great looking Pup! It looks like the WWI contingency is going to be very well represented. We may have our very own Kentucky Dawn Patrol.

Test flew my new Bananna Hobbies SR71 today and it is a very good flying electric jet. I got in four flights and will be bringing this to the war bird meet at Louisville.

It is open flying after 5 pm. Now if Jimmy Doolittle is flyin that Gee Bee we might be able to squeeze a flight in during the middle of the day but he'll have to be wearing his Army Air Corps uniform. I think he was racing Gee Bees before the war if not mistaken.

Ram 3500-
That would be great if you can come. It looks like you may have a H9 Corsair. I would like to put mine up with you and get some photos with another H9 Corsair. I recently modified mine to drop a bomb. Here are a couple of shots of my Corsair that I will be flying.

That is my brother's kit-built Top Flight Corsair. He did a wonderful job on it....... 'twice'!!! Last year, he broke both wings off at the bend, at a fly-in, when he tip stalled on landing. Rebuilt it over the winter and has been flying it at events all year without incident. On one flight this year, I was flying it and the gear wouldn't retract. I landed and we found that the supply valve had blown and we lost all air. Still can't believe the gear didn't collapse with 0 pressure, but it held. It was a full flap grease job, fortunately.
We are building a Meister 1/5 scale P-47 (102") and it may be done in time to bring it. Here are the wings with the metal on them. My brother said he wants us to build a Meister Corsair next. Maybe next year for that.
Anyway, we will try to make it. It sounds like fun and isn't too far away.
