sterling Fokker d7 plane ?
I just got an Fokker d7 plane that is built. I got this from an older man tha has not flown in a long while. I am pretty sure that it is a sterling kit, it has a top wingspan of 58", a lower wing span of 47". Does anyone know tips or tricks about this plane, cg? I have to do some repairing to get it flyable.
Thanks

That would be great, I am in no huge hurry, I have to fix a wing and try to figure out the rest of the plane.
Thanks again

Hey guys, does anyone around fly this plane, or have flown this plane, I jsut pulled it down and looking at it again. It came with a saito 50, would that be enough power, or should I use a different engine, and if so what? I assume that standard servos should work fine.
Thanks

I am planning on it being a bit diffucult to take off and land, but I do have the D7 and I am more morried about power for it, I think the saito 50 seems a bit small for a biplane with a 58" top wing span.
Thanks

i flew one of these years and years ago, power was a merco 61, great scale motor, would pull a 14inch wood prop, i think the one you have is a tad small, it flies superb, by the way

It's a great flyer. Put as much weight as you can up forward. Keep the speed up on landing which, by the way, will usually be a nose over because the struts flex aft, "tripping" the plane. Fly it in with some power and try to get the tail down asap.
