Kellogg's AD5 Skyraider Build

I am preparing for it. Once he completes the construction I will be beginning the glass work. I do not want to allow this one he built to sit as long as others he has constructed for me without finishing them up.
I have been working on the others lately. I had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and this has allowed me to stop on the heavy labor projects and keep busy on the models. The past few evenings I have applied paint to the wing and fuselage of the T-50 Bobcat he framed and covered for me this past summer. I want to have it ready for the maiden flight before the “real” flying season. I am not much on winter flying. If you want to track its progress here is the thread link.

Thanks guys. Also I stopped by Maser's shop yesterday to pick up his DA-85 to size up the firewall and cowl. Mine is resting on my Ziroli P-40. Thanks Boyd, but did I mention the next time you see your 85 will be the AD-5's first flight.
Here is why he has been so quite: During the season he flew my Balsa USA L-4 and liked the relaxed, no worry flight so much he desided to build one. Looking good Boyd!
I think a full rib stiching and interior would be great Boyd. What do you guys think?

By request to post this vid here. Motivation? plenty of it. Combined with an outside view of a TBM. Charlie would be happy.
http://youtu.be/QVkmz3zosH4 I remember as a young boy and later teen growing up on Naval Air Stations, the tinted canopy in the back.
Watching this vid also makes me miss my USAF days and flying low level through mesas' and mountains. Great way to sight see.

Precision cut kits may have the plans, but the designer Charlie had said they were an orignal set that were lacking all of the corrections he discovered during his 2 builds. The only person that had the rights to sell the plans was and is the designer, the late Charlie Kellogg.
