if you sheet your plug, wont the thickness of he balsa make it a larger plug than needed?

I am!! Iam!!! The canopy plugs are glassed and primed. Now alot of sanding. Next I will takle the fillet and they are big. so it will be fun! John

A little bit of a change. I have so much work, I dont have time for the Raiden to finish for Rockies. So I dont want this plane to take forever. I decided to have my good friend Scott Raines AKA Scottdogg finish it. He will send pictures for me to post of the progress!! This is the currnt state. John

Finally 1/5 scale parts are nested. Big sheets 20 x 60 are cnc. The rest are laser cut. There are over 250 parts. I am happy I can be done parts. and move to finishing plans sets.

Glad you are watching I how I can do this a/c some justice. I started framing fuse after building engine box and attaching all required fuse formers. I then build a big (1) 12 x 54 x 3/4 ply (2) 3"x12"x 3/4 and (2) 6 3/4 x 5 7/8 x 3/4. Then placed fuse and jig and set aft formers. John
