RE: Looking for Aerotech P-51 owners
I've got about an hour to go, but when I get home I'll take some pics for you. The extention is steel and mounts up using the DA prop bolts, no spacers from the firewall. Don't know off hand what the thread size is, I don't think it's a truturn part, tho. As I recall Wayne said he had a machine shop in, jeez, Some place in the southern US make it.

The firewall former is 3/8's of an inch, prop extenuation is 2 1/2 inches, firewall to nose ring is 6 1/4 inches and prop shaft mic's at 10 mm, I don't know the thread pitch but I'm guessing 1.5. I'm not so good at the meterick stuff.

Roydefiant, thanks for theinfo, I will try Gary . is he at Aerotech Scale Parts Somerset WI , what part of US is that in.
Beechbum. thanks for your info also the photos, as they say one picture saves athousand words.
With the liquid coold MVVS 58 engine it has a 6 bolt x 4 mm and 10 mm x 1.0mm prop shaft extension.
The DA50 is a 4 bolt 5 mm [10/32] hub with plain extended shaft .
boath engines drilled 5 mm [10/32] for center mount spinnerscrew.
For the engine bulk head I will use 10 mm marine ply ,
Prop shaft extension is it made as a onepiece machined part or the threaded stud in to the extension.
I will go to an aviation fabrication machine shopto get some off cuts of 4130 steel and 2024-t4 aluminum and
have a go at makeing it myself, this will be an intresting project can only stuff it up !
Keep them flying. EddyP51

I have one complete with all options, including the special Husky engine that was made for the plane.
when I purchased the total package, the price was approximately $3700.
will sell for. A reasonable offer plus crate and shipping.
Thanks
Ron

I too have one with the original engine and all the options. The plane is together and almost ready to fly but unfinished on the outside. I'm thinking of converting it to brushless or selling it as is. If anybody has any experience with the electric conversion, let me know. Thanks, Brad

I recently purchased an unfinished (barely started) aerotech P-51 model that came with nearly everything (lucky me!) except the instructions the plan references. If by chance my luck can continue and one of you can provide a copy of the instructions that go with the plans that would be incredible.
