I made a short video with my favorite band Rammstein ))
So , from the Idea to drawing to the reality :) It seems so easy but believe me it was hard work to come this stage! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3WzRqAa3XY&feature=youtu.be http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG20150119123455.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123508.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123540.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123549.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123609.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123731.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123747.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150119_123758.jpg |
WOW!
|
Do we have to sheet the cowl or are you going to make a glass one for the production.. Need I say; add me to the list for this one!
|
Thanks guys
Ramstein , I think to cover the cowl skeleton with 1.5mm balsa , this method is new for me , as you know I work with epoxy. I don't know yet about glass cowl , I want to make all wood model except the canopy. Cheers |
So I pulled my old long table and began sticking to detail with glue.
For me the way of assembly of these structures differ slightly from the classical method of construction of shipway, because I think that enough is assembled model and takes a few points with which to catch on a flat surface and, ensure accuracy. First I fixate skeleton with cyanoacrylate glue so that it does not spill but to fix the detail that allows subsequently be adjusted in construction coated with slow glue which in this case is Time Express. After assembling the skeleton with cyan glue fix it on the counter and straighten all angles in the correct position only after everything I tripped and I am sure that everything is in the correct position to start slowly coated with glue Moment Here it should stringers before placing the body to come off the counter. http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133253.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133304.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133419.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133438.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133456.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_133514.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_142031.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_153135.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150120_153209.jpg |
I made a crash test. On the second film you can see that on the small piece have glue and wood residue from the horizontal plywood stringer. So I think that this glue work great in any situation http://www.warbirdforum.de/forum/ima...lies/smile.gif
The test I made before to glue all 5x5mm stringers ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svbxFYgz9CU&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j80Z_MiC4qw&feature=youtu.be Strings are on position http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150121_163319.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150121_163358.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/IMG_20150121_163348.jpg |
Hi , I am ALMOST ready with wings to , I need to glue the 14mm stringers for landinggears and the composite bube, and servo plates
For the elevator I will make them "legs" and I will put one more stringer for biggger stability for 1/4 scale model Cheers http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...122_142239.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_132436.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_132443.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_153855.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_154723.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_155843.jpg http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/IMG...123_155858.jpg |
Hi guys, today I made the wood section of the canopy
This is the result : http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy%20(3).JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy(1).JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy%20(2).JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy%20(4).JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy%20(5).JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/FW190canopy%20(6).JPG |
Rumen,
congrats on the beautiful work! say, what aerofoil are you using for this 190? joseG |
Thanks Jose
The original airfoil with the original angles a washout of approximately 2 degrees at the wingtip We talked about this facebook ............ http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/800...674/dRoyTO.jpg |
|
Very much like the FW-190 but prefer the pugnacious "Anton" version. Would love to get one around 85 to 95" span.
Any good kits out there? |
Yes I make this A8 in 1/5 and 1/4 scale
The 1/5 scale is 82,7 inches The 1/4 scale is 100.3 inches |
thank you. I am also looking at Meister scale as it has fiberglass fuse
|
Hi Fokke
Great work, I am committed to purchase when you commence selling. :-) Incidentally, the "other" forum I view your work and comment appears to be dying (as I am the only one commenting on there :-( ).. so I will comment on here in future.... maurice |
Hi Maurice, on your question for the glue (adhesive) I use cyanoacrylate glue only for fixing For me the way of assembly of these structures differ slightly from the classical method of construction of shipway, because I think that enough is assembled model and takes a few points with which to catch on a flat surface and, ensure accuracy. First I fixate skeleton with cyanoacrylate glue so that it does not spill but to fix the detail that allows subsequently be adjusted in construction coated with slow glue which in this case is Time Express. After assembling the skeleton with cyan glue fix it on the counter and straighten all angles in the correct position only after everything I tripped and I am sure that everything is in the correct position to start slowly coated with glue Moment
Here it should stringers before placing the body to come off the counter. |
Fokke
Thanks very much :-) |
You are welcome Maurice , on the end of this week I'll have the other pieces as flaps ailerons elevator and rudder And I will assembbling them , they are from 2mm plate
|
Looking forward to it Fokke :-)
|
Thanks Wurger
So this is the result from my last drawings , this is from 2mm material http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/DSCI2150.JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/DSCI2152.JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FWDSCI2155.JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/DSCI2156.JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/DSCI2148.JPG http://www.fokkerc.com/snimki/FW/DSCI2149.JPG |
Stunning............... :-)
