Hey guys , Im currently working on a County Class HMS Cornwall WW2 model I bought from a friend partly built . The major sections of the superstructure are done , but I dont have any decent ref material or plans to work from to complete it, can anyone offer any good sites / plans services that might help ?

Normally, I would send you to one of the vendors listed on the north Texas Battle Group's site [link=http://www.ntxbg.org]www.ntxbg.org[/link], but these are primarily US sites, and I understand there areseveral decent UK sites as well. Of course the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich probably has them (more than you can say grace over) - they did for my HMS Erin. If you can find the shipyard, they may still have builder's plans on file. If you just need a few details to finish up, Conways All the World's Fighting Ships (for the appropriate period), will have diagrams that are probably adequate. Also, for quick and easy, I would suggest a Google Search on images of the various ships in the class. I came up with these of a sister ship:[link=http://www.steelnavy.com/suffolk.htm]www.steelnavy.com/suffolk.htm[/link]
I hope this was helpful. Good luck in your build.
