4 Bladed Prop Use
I have a 91CD and have used this engine with a 12X6-3 Blade Prop with good results; the engine as you know calls for using a 13X6-2 Blade; I am interested in using this engine in a P-47 and a 4 Bladed Prop; I underestand that you decrease the diameter for each extra prop blade, therefore I believe the prop would then be 11X6 -11X8 4 Blade; APC makes these; your thoughts on this prop use on the 91CD.

We haven't tried this particular configuration so it is difficult to give you a definitive answer. I would recommend that an 11x8 would be a good prop to try first, but you may need to compare this with another 4-bladed prop to see which gives you the best performance
