Default 90sp longevity

hi,

I am thinking of purchasing one of these engines and was wondering what its life expectancy is?. I am interested to know how many gallons of fuel I can expect to run or hours of operation before doing any mayor maintenance (replacing gears or bearings). I know my question is one that can not have an exact answer, but given the right conditions what is the ball park figure?

Default RE: 90sp longevity

Hi

Thank you for your question. I am sorry my answer is going to sound a bit vague. We do not have any ball park figures to offer you, however we still have engines in the field which are 7/8 years old and still flying, as I am sure you appreciate it does depend on how they are flown.

Regarding how long it will be before an engine requires maintenance, this is really an unknown quantity and very difficult to put a standard timescale to.

I am sorry I can not be more helpful in this instance.

Kind regards

Stephanie
