91 CD main needle O-ring
#1
I've been flying my 91 CD for the better part of a season now with great success. Thus far it's proven to be a great performer & has run like a top. Yesterday I was getting some fuel leakage around my main needle. I removed the needle & wiped it down (particularly it's O-ring) to remove any debris that may have caused the leak before reinserting it into the carb. This stopped the fuel leakage but I noticed the O-ring was quite small & didn't have a very snug fit when inserted back into the carb. My engine sat on a shelf for several years before being used so I'm wonering if the O-ring may have degraded a bit. Has anyone had this problem? Is this O-ring an off the shelf item that I can find locally or do I call service?
Once again, it's been a great engine so far. Thanks for the help!
