Was just using my buggy finally got some good weather. All of sudden it stoped responding to my remote. Thx god Idecided to put in the fail safe it was pointed at a brick wall when it stoped moving. Now I turn off the car and remote and turn them back onIcan turn the wheel and move the throttle for about 2 to 5 sec then it start glitching and wont do anything again. Ihave no clue what happen. Maybe its my car way of telling me to upgrade to the 2.4g remote lol but Im broke!!!

What about the batteries in the car? Oh and for what its worth, you can upgrade to 2.4g for $20 with a built in failsafe and free shipping. www.hobbypartz.com/fs-gt2-24ghz-radio-black.html
Notice any simalarities to the redcat 2.4g radio? They are the exact same and will bond to eachother.

also, look for any damage to the rx antenna.
and good for you for having your fail safe set! so many a RC'er forgets to do such things and disaster strikes!

I bought the rechargeable batter back for the car not to long ago. maybe 2 months. barely used since it been winter. I am charging them now just in case. But if they died the fail safe would not of worked I am leaning towards problem with remote mayebe the atenna wire. I am going to try some new batteries in the remote see what happens.

you can also try a different set of frequency crystals if you have a set from another RC.
its rare, but the crystals can get damaged.
make sure the antenna on the controller is screwed in tightly.
if all that checks out and the re-charged onboard pack doesnt solve the problem then a new radio may be in order.
the flysky 2.4ghz radio system is only $20 on hobbypartz.com.

HMMM seems it was the onboard batterys. Ijust took them off the charger to see and the car is responding normally now. Iam guessing they were low causing a problem but still had enought power to activate the fail safe. Lucky me lol. Ihave the recharble battery pack from redcat installed. Do you think they could of got low from sitting alot lately do to weather??
