Backdraft 8e issues (CVD Joints and steering)

Looking for some input.</div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt">I have a backdraft 8e and my 2 issues are:</div><div style="text-indent: -0.25in; margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in"><span>1.<span style="font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'"> </span></span>The axle (BS936-004) that goes inside the front knuckle is lose. I don’t know how to fix it, or what to buy to resolve the issue. I think the problem is two small (washes) that goes inside the knuckle.</div><div style="text-indent: -0.25in; margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in"><span>2.<span style="font: 7pt 'Times New Roman'"> </span></span>I having steering issues, if I move to the left the tires move left but don’t move complete back to the middle. If I move right I have the same issue. You can try to ship the axle, or use shrink tube the pin so it has less play. I recently tried this on a customers car.
Hold the smallest shrink tube in the middle slide the pin through and once its through both sides, apply heat to hold in place and take up slack.
If you are using the stock servo, its just a crappy servo. low Torque rating and just poor construction IMO. If ou truely want more precision, I would invest in a stronger servo, like one from Hitec, Airtronics, Savox, JR Etc.
You'll find these work better.
