The wheels on the Volcano are big. If you don't need the monster truck tires you could go a little smaller with less sidewall. This will keep the tires from ballooning and will also handle better. You'll gain torque and off the line power but sacrifice some top end. You could always swap the clutch bell out for a 18T to get the stock gearing back. I just recently picked up these Pro-line Rims and tires for my Tornado. I think there Desperado wheels and Dirt Hawgs tires. They're considered 2.8 size rims.

oh, didn't realize it was brushless. The Jato wheels I think are smaller than what I have. I think they're considered 2.2 size rims. You'll probably need a bigger pinion gear.

i believe Jato wheels are 2.8's they would be a good replacement but tire wise i think the jato has ribbed fronts so you would need 4 rears from the jato.

yeh, the jato 2.8 rears should be pretty decent. they are still a bit smaller than stock tires, but if you up the pinion gear 2-3 teeth it should make up for that.

i put stampede 2.2 rear rims with proline masher 2000 tires on mine.

2.8's or 2.2's will work as long as they are the right offset and have 12mm hex,,,, Or i guess pin backed wheels will work too but id prefer to leave the hexes on. I tried my HPI 2.2's tonight and they dont fit, the wheel is not larg enough around and the offset is in to far for the fronts to fit so try and stick with 2.8s

I think emaxx shocks are a bit shorter than the volcano's....Ill check later.

An emaxx body is much to long for the volcano.

A body meant for the stampede should be close tho. much closer wheel base on the 2 trucks.

do you know if that bug body in your sig has the right wheelbase for a rustler? after i sell the volcano chassis i think im going to buy either the semi body or the bug body for the rustler.
