Need help getting Carb settings back to a point where we can get engine started again, after several hours of car running good, son decided to try to tune for more speed and got things out of whack. Getting plenty of air and fuel, glow plug good also, just seems to be in need of starting from scratch like we did at break in, thanks for any help

Yep. Just gonna need to start over. I have not the slightest clue what stock is, but something else may work well too.

I'd put the HSN flush with the housing and then the LSN at 2 1/2 turns out. Be careful not to tighten the LSN too much when screwing it in before going out or you'll damage it. That should get you close.
