I have had this truck for close to 12 days now and an having the following problems already
.
the truck will run for about 5 seconds and it Completely shuts down. My buddy out the esc in his same exact car and it ran fine so he told me it looks like the motor took a poop. Which really sucks because it's brand new bought from hobby shop here in Dayton ohio and the owner said once it leaves his store is out of his hands and there's nothing he can do. He don't even consider trying to help you. Now when the car stops it blinks real fat red blinking colors on the esc. But it don't rapidly blink on my buddies? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what's going on or what happened? Is never been even ran really motor is brand new. I hope somehow I can fix this or I just lost $350
please help me

Sounds like low voltage cutoff might have kicked in .
Do you have a voltmeter that you can check your battery is charged properly ?
Try your friends battery and also try using his charger to charge your battery and see if it still happens .
Then contact Redcat directly .
A good Hobby shop would at least try to diagnose what the problem was !

Your hobby shop sucks, never go there again. If you haven't already call redcat support. They are excellent and will soon get you going, no cost.

I have the same truck and sounds like the same problem. I did call Redcat and they told me it sounded like I needed to bind my transmitter with the truck, because it lost contact with the receiver. I tried but found out my receiver on the truck was dead as no light came on when trying to bind. Don't do what I did, I was told to look for the light on the receiver, when all the time I was looking at the light on the ESC. I couldn't see the light on the receiver because it was dead. Redcat went good and a replacement is on it's way. BTW, I only had mine for a week, only charged the battery twice. Hope this helps.

Did you ever get your truck running I received a new part they sent but the truck still does the same exact thing any ideas?I have noticed that the little esc fan only kicks on for about 2 maybe 3 or so seconds and then following the fan completely stopping the esc starts flashing rapidly red??? Is the fan bad? Causing the esc not to run?
so aggravated :-(
