Hello,

Anybody know where i can start to look to fix this issue, yesterday running my tornado xp everything seemed fine till the car hit second gear, once the car hit second gear a big puff of smoke comes out and the buggy stalls. I tried leaning it up but it still cut out when it hit second. Nothing seems to be binding in the tranny but I guess the only way I can be sure is to take apart the tranny. Otherwise the buggy is running great, well till I broke the #1 rule and let a friend drive it full speed into a curb, oh well I learned my lesson on that one.

Any Suggestions?

I have a volcano stx.I had the same problem with mine,so I adjusted the high speed valve.Thats the one beside your air filter.I had to richen the mixture.So try to turn it counter clock wise and see if that helps,it did with mine.Turn it a little at a time and see how it does then.Hope this helps your problem.

Also remember to give it some time after each adjustment ...the changes won't be immediate and when we talk about minor adjustments we are talking only about 1/16-1/8 turns at a time on any of the mixture screws.

justin, the volcano stx only has a single gear bro, at least mine anyway

i have moded mine up to a two speed.

what trans did you use?
