Default oops!!

i was breaking in my volcano sv today,ant i striped the gear that connects to the clutch bell i guess its the spur gear? the teeth didnt strip it it was the middle of the gear. does any one know why that happened and what parts do i need to order to fix it?

Yes it is the spur gear and it just happen's the part #08033.

the slipper clutch nut was probably too loose and caused it to "burn"

i didnt know you had to tighten that also.does the spur gear come with that lil gear next to it also,i striped that nut with the spring also tightened to much.but i was happy with the volcano sv (first nitro truck).thanx for all the help

You might want to check every grub or any screws before the next run. Just to make sure everything is tight. There is a lot of things that ocme loose when running ( alot of vibration). Basically put blue locktite on everything that screws into metal.

yes the spur gear comes with that small metal gear. also you dont have to tighten it up all the way or too much, just enough so it grabs good, the tighter the nut the more it grabs.
