i noticed while taking apart my truck my gearbox was extremely dirty and dry inside, how can i clean it and what do i put inside for lubricant after cleaning, thanks

do you mean the front and rear diffs, if so use gear lube

yea the big black gear boxes, i had no clue they had an open side underneath and when i took a look it has so much dirt inside it makes a crunchy noise when i spin the tires, how much gear lube?

grease is what i meant, gear grease. make sure all the teeth are covered well, after you clean them

ok kool,do i use wd 40 or somethen to clean it though

wd would work good to clean it
