Default fuel question

Has anyone used XP 30%. Is it any good ?I just found a shop closer to me but alls they sell is the XP30%.The guy at the shop said its really good,he has a track and everyone there uses the XP. I've only used traxxas 20%, will I be alright with the 30%. Maybe have to richen it up a little ?

you will have to richen it up a bit higher nitro runs hotter as for xp fuel never heard of it

yeah and when you make the change just go easy for the first couple of tanks as the engine adjusts to the higher combustion. Also depending on what engine you have, to run 30% you would most likely have to shim the engine to handle it.

Not sure bud; I dont have this engine but since its an .18 I'd say you probably would but thats a guess. Someone will know. ehroof is the guy to be speaking too.

thanks mozz, the .18 doesnt have to be shimmed, you can run 30% in it, just take it easy for the first tank and let the engine adjust, also richen the high needle a 1/4 turn and check your temp.

Good to here. Ehroof have you ever heard of or used XP fuel. I think i will try it anyway, just wondering though . thanks

just found it bro, its the name of the company. Looks like a good fuel, cant hurt to try it, i usually run byrons race proven, odonells, or trinity monster horsepower

Ya I'll defenately give it a try. I will let ya know what I think of it, although I can only compare it to the traxxas 20% as that is all i've used. Thanks again.

You guys wont have heard of this but here in Oz there is a fuel thats recently been brought onto the local market called massive Mods HB444 25%. This stuff is simply amazing fuel. The difference this makes to the way my engines run is nothing short of outstounding. From increased engine output to incredible cooling properties, I truly could gab on about all day long! LOL Its become so popular in such a short time its basically the best fuel we have seen in Australia and it seems that litterally everyone is making the switch over to it. If it ever gets marketed over in the US, you guys are in for a treat!!
