heres what my gear ended up lookin like, it would spin holding it, than on the ground it wouldnt.. that was after it went a few yards than it quit.. id look at ur tranny, which is whats in the pic and see if this gear is stripped, or u can look at the bottom of your car and look in the little square hole and see the gears, ull be able to tell if it looks like this or close to this.

no gears look fine maybe i have the clutch bell to close that would cause it to bind right because the clutch bell only spins one way??

try takin the clutch bell off and make sure the spring is still onto the clutch, and than when u put it all back together, make it nice and snug.

yea sounds like youve got the clearance on the gears too tight. you want to have a little play in both gears when the engine is tight. very little play, but still some. hold the clutch bell tight with one hand and look through the bottom of the car and wiggle the trans gears with your other hand. you should be able to slightly move the trans gears without the clutchbell moving.

sounds like you might be missing some of the washers. You have to be able to tighten the clutchbell screw all the way down and still be a ble to spin the clutchbell.
