Default need some ideas

i just cut out and made a top plate that goes around the front half of where the gas tank is, and its made of aluminum, i got all holes cut, sanded and smooth enough for me, but i just noticed i dont have any buffing or polishing pads for my dremel, what else could i use, would doin it by hand with a terry towl take forever and would i need alot of pressure or what, i want to get it polished tonight, cuz i have nothing to do, but in the hole on money so cant buy any pads.. []

Dude thats why you get married and own power tools, so you dont have to use your hands. It would take way to long by hand. I have a cloth wheel on my bench grinder.

I can understand that, I think we all have had the apartment experience. Looks like the dremmel is your only option at this point. You could use a finish file, its not as nice of a finish as a buffing wheel, but its nice. Almost looks like a satin finish when your done.
