Yes but big blocks will suffer a little in rpm,s. You can have a small block motor be much quicker than a big block but a big block will have more torque. There are small blocks that can turn up to around 50,000 rpm's. Most small blocks are in the upper 30'000 rpm,s. It all depends on what you are going to use them for. If you want brutal torque for a larger truck then use a big block.

numbers like that would be like in a car, a 289ci 327 ci 396ci, 427ci and so on............it is a figure for displacement.........thats the .18 and so on is the bore and stroke of and engine........hope that helps..........bigger is not always better but it helps

thanks guys understand completetly ,how do you rate the .16 engine that comes in the redcat lightning , im thinking about buying a on road car

It's a decent motor and it has more than enough power to make that bad boy move and drift like a king. You can litterly spin the tires from a stand still.

Thats actually a pretty good little engine it can keep you out of a lot of trouble till you get good with an on road car and if you go up in power you need to do some suspension work........not much just a little[&o] I really like the lightning
