I know this is the redcat forum. Redcats are not very popular in the truggy forum so Im not even going to ask there. I am looking at the Monsoon and the Thunder tiger st1 for my first truggy. I have not read anything bad about the TTst1 in the truggy forum or anything bad about the Monsoon here on this forum. Does anyone here have any experience with the TTst1 and the Monsoon? I can get the TTst1 cheaper than the Monsoon. The TTst1 usually goes for about 369-400 every where I looked but 1 place had them on sale for 299. And please dont be offended if I go with the TTst1?

i honestly dont know much about the thunder tiger, i do know the monsoon has a great write up here on rcu.

I honestly have never heard anything bad about the thunder tiger. This would have to be a decision for you to make. What you think you can get parts for easier becuase alot of places do not carry thunder tiger parts just like the monsoon. If you are on forums alot for info I would probably suggest you go with the monsoon becuase you can get alot of help here and info is easier to get for the monsoon if you have any problems I think then the thunder tiger. Both are very good trucks and for that price I saw like you I am thinking of getting one but I already have a monsoon too. Was always interested in thunder tiger but no one had parts and when I found clermont hobby only a couple of miles from me and he sold redcats I decided on the monsoon.
