Default Air hole in front windshield

Is this really necissary? I can see how it would be on some trucks but the avalanche had such a huge area for air to rush in up front and especially the front wheel wells. I know Ehroof has a hole in his avalanche body and if he does it I'm thinkin everybody should do it. My truck started runnin a little hot last night and im guessing one of my needles is out of shape. But then again how does a needle tighten (lean) itself? This is why I was wondering if the Air hole was alot more important that i originaly thought.

Thanks, Defm~

Having a hole in the front window will direct air right to the engine. Just having air flow from underneath is not enough direct air flow. It helps a great deal.

if you put the hole in the windshield in front of the engine, its like putting a cooling fan on the engine, the air will rush in the hole and blow onto the cooling head, cut out the area above the engine too.
