Default Engine Temperature

Hi ii'm from Puerto Rico, two days ago i use first time my Monsoon, i do the brake in proced very wel, but after i setting my engine for performance it is very fast and powerful but never past of 190grades, it is normal? i think i need more temperature right? if is yes what i do incorrect? My Monsoon hace smoke every time, quikly response, never blow a glow plug, i use 20% nitro gas. Pleas help me i not like blow the engine, thanks and sorry for the bad english....

if its running good and powerful dont worry about it, if its 190F.

In other threads some people explain to me that the best temperature are from 200 to 250 but mine never reach the 200

If you lean it just a tad to get temps up about 225 it will be fine. Just turn in teh high speed needle about 1/16 turn at a time. What is your outside temps.

In Puerto Rico is about 80-98F all year

honestly, if its running good then dont worry, 190 is close enough to 200. you usually want 200 and over to break the engine in but if you broke it in already just run it.

See if you can lean it out just a tad on the high end needle. If not then dont worry about it.

Ok, im setting todya the engine with the new JP3 header and muffler and the temp go up at least 225degrees, i think now is better, i lean a little bit the engine ang go more fast... thanks for help
