buggy problems

Default buggy problems

whenever i go to open the buggy wide open it just boggs out. it will drive fie untill i pin it and then it bogs. any sugestions to why its doing this

Sounds like it may be running lean, try turning the high jet out an 1/8-1/4 turn and see if that helps.

no its not lean i have it 2.5 turns out. its still breakin it in a little. this is the first time i have tryed to open it up. it usaly bogs but if it dosent it just dosent wind out[:@][:@][:@]

2.5 out is lean I have the VX.18 motor and mine is set at 3 1/4 out you need to richen it up.

if the pitch of the engine doesnt go up, like max rpm's you may need to lean it a little. do it 1/8 turns at a time and run it around before you adjust it more.

thats funny. the manul says 2.5 to break it in and then lean it out. i have read many things that say 2.5-3 for brake in. theres lots of smoke and little bit of oil comeing out the exsaust

thanx for the tips . ill try to lean out my engine a bit after a few more tanks and see if that changes anythink

Ok i haven't got this break in thing either.... so when you do these 5 tanks... on each tank you just do some figure 8's being gentle on the throttle untill the next tank and so on, then when thats done you can tune and let er rip..???

thats pretty much it in a nutshell, you use the throttle a little more on each tank. let it cool between tanks with the piston on the bottom of the cylinder when cooling, its also a good habbit to get into doing, leaving it at the bottom when its hot and not being used.
