Does Changing the length of the fuel tube make any difference? i just start mine up and as soon as i throttle it, it dies. any ideas?

No it really doesnt make a difference other than if you flip it it will take longer to die. as for it dying sounds like a tuning problem reset everything to factory settings and see what happens then

check to make sure its not running to rich or too lean or that you don't have a fuel or air leak somewhere in the exhaust system (your exhaust system works kind of like a fuel pump) if theres a whole or leak in the exhaust system it can cause the engine to run too lean on fuel. check your fuel lines to make sure theres no air leaks. the reason you lengthen the fuel line from the tank to the carb is to keep from getting a lean or fuel bog when your racing, as the tank gets lower on fuel you have a better chance of getting points as you take turns and jumps, this way you have plenty of fuel in the fuel lines to help keep that from happening.

also, i put my servo rod on the lower hole of the carb, would this make a difference?

that may not let the carb open all the way, if you touched your needles most likely your too lean, richen the needles a 1/4 turn each and see if it gets better.

it was spitting out quite a lot of oil out of the exhaust.

i might just take take engine out, put the servo rod in the original hole and mesh my gears properly.

that may only make the carb not open or close all the way, it makes the "throw" of the servo less
