that was from last year bro, its all fixed now. a city bus ran it over when it took off, there was no response from that digital fm radio and it shot accross a park, i cant believe no one was hit, its ran about 1000ft or more accross the park and into an intersection. the front end was crushed, cooling head smashed, rims cracked, front dogbones mangled, chassis bent, but thank goodness no one was hurt. This is a serious problem and someone needs to come up to bat already before a kid gets seriously hurt. my buddy has the monsoon and the radio was a problem too.

The redcat FM radio was the first thing I ditched when I bought my sons avalanche. He runs with a Futaba Magnum. I just read too many bad things about this fm radio to risk it.

Any radio can Fail, but there seems to be a Pattern of Failure with these Redcat FM's.....

I am thinking I might need to upgrade mine. I haven't had any issues with mine........yet, but I really don't want to have any issues.

its only a matter of time lol.... upgrade the radio. 2.4 is the way to go. Never had a run away with one. I personally dont use a failsafe either just the factory spectrum one thats built into the radio.

Agreed, but I do use the failsafe. I have the Futaba F.A.S.S.T. system and all you have to to is pick your throttle position and push a button. Futaba makes it real easy.

spectrum is easy to. Just when you bind it for the first time hold the brake on and turn the wheel and your all set.
