I was just out running and my volcano was running pretty fast but hit 304 and I was wondering what might be the problem. My low and high speed were set just like uasual and it seemed fine but I don't know if I may have had an air leak or what can someone help me out plz?

running that hot on that little .18 will cause damage. Either your high end is too lean or you do have an air leak. Check your tank and your lines.

you cant just leave your settings all the time. your motor will change if the tempature out side is different or humitity. it might have a problem but i just think you need to retune it

I had it tuned from that day but on like the third tank its temp shoot up I just found a slight hole in one of my lines from the spur gear could that of been the problem?

it was on the exhuast to the tank side wasnt it?

No it was from the tank to the carb but now i just checked it again and there was not a hole just a nick what else could it be? My carb is nice and tight checked it

I dont know but i was able to ride it about 4 ft up a tree, do a back flip and land it in place to do it again. It was cool fliped it like 4 times

yeah they really scream when your running em way lean...your temps need to be between 200 to 250 neihgborhood

ya thats what i try to run it at in that range but I dont know what happaned. I will run it again tommarow and see if it does it again. thanks for the help

I had a crack in my fuel tank before. I found it by taking the tank off and puting it in water and blowing through one of the hoses while plugging the other. Nice little hair line crack that I would have never found!

Yes, it ran lean, the crack was on top and as soon as the fuel went down a bit the pressure from the exaust was leaking out the hole causing low fuel pressure and lean running, I never ran it hot I usually just adjusted the carb to bandaid the problem until I got sick of tuning it all the time.
