Default Redcat 1/5 gas

Anyone know what the price will be on these yet? The Redcat site says under $1000, but an actual price would be good to know. Also, is the quality of Redcat vehicles as good as the bigger name brands?

Final pricing will be set before May 10th, but the MSRP will be under $1,000.

Got about 25 PM''s from you guys and hope to get to it by Wed. Darn girlfriend forced me to leave town with her this passed weekend so that slowed me down a tad. She claimed, I needed to be away from anything electronic, anything with a monitor or keyboard and anything you can text with. I think it was good for me, but now I feel so far behind.

Its a post stickied to the top of this forum, we are getting to name the new 1/5ths we all contributed names then they narrowed it down an you can pm darin with your vote! Cool huh? How many companies not only give you inside info on their new line AND also let you name them. I know you asked on another posting but my exp. with redcat has been fantastic! Beginner phhhf! I will only own these, granted I dont race an its all for fun but they make all I need!

Yes that is cool that Redcat is letting customers come up with a name for the new gassers. I don''''t race either, and I like to get a good product for an affordable price too. I been checking out Redcat for a while now, and these 1/5 scale gassers are what realy caught my interest in the Redcat brand. I like the design better than MCD 4x4 1/5 scale.

Hey guys, I just posted some updated pics, and info on my blog about the 1/5th scale Redcats. Looks like We'll be able to get Hitec Radios and Receivers through Redcat and official pricing should be announced by May 15, 2008. Check it out here: http://www.vancouverhobbies.com/newsandreviews.htm

I can't wait for these to arrive!!!
