Default what did ya run

Just wondering what everyone ran this weekend. I ran the hurricane, matrix buggy and truggy and attempted the mega p 1/8th truck on the track. Its better off to bash around the fields .The buggy and truggy did great though. My son was screwing around with the hurricane and added a set of 1 inch wheel spacers .. looked funny but handled great.

Let me rephrase that Ed, it was the megap truck. The 1/10scale truggy did ok(couldn't clear all the jumps but that is expected having a small block) . The truck isn't made for the track. Just wanted to try it out.

Depends on the track conditions. This whole week has been super dry. Get it damp and gets more bite. I am not bashing the truggy at all. For the money it is fine. I simply stated what I ran and what broke.

LOL, there deffinatly made for the track, there's no two ways about it after running every single one of them myself, that they are deffinatly made with the track in mind.

If you think the 1/8th scale truck is for the track, you need to goto some tracks more often. Its abasher.

Yes Ed, it is hard to flip as a basher. I agree. If you read my post I said it is a basher but wanted to take it out to the track to try it out. At least you agree it is a basher.

I don't know I thought it handled just fine at the in door track in Garland. Jumps great too, nice and easy to control, well balanced. Maybe it's the driver??

Yeah, I ordered my parts from Rob on Tuesday, got 'em Thursday. Couldn't believe it! [X(] Great prices and had everything I asked for in stock (including some goofy stuff).

Yeah, we got the snow down here too. After a couple days in the garage working on my project car, I took the Tyranno out for a short rip in the back alley. Plugged the air filter with powder in 3 minutes, and couldn't even get near full throttle (you need perfect traction for the awesome power of the VX18, I guess, haha)
