I am running a vx.18 volcano. Problem is I am not sure what oil content i should be using.

I am getting alot of mixed opinions. I had blue thunder which worked well but it didn't state what the oil was.
I just bought sidewinder 20% nitro/10% oil. The manual suggests 16% with a comined content of 20%.
Think it will be ok?

it will be fine sidewinder is good fuel i have a tornado bb with the vx .18 and use the same fuel it works great never had any problems yet

Thows fuels are good and i use losi nitrotane 20% and it is 8% oil and my engine is fine and ran strong. so i found 16 is a littel much becouse it screws with the one way bering... external or internal... in the vx it is a external and it leeks around the bushing and makes the bering slip... with the sh it is a internal bering and it makes it so you have to pull off the whole back plate and clean it out with moter spray and it is a pane in the but! assoon as you are done with that gal. go with losi nitrotane if you can find it... it smells good and is a clear fuel no color additives. ither that or byrons race gen 2 14% oil or lower...
