Just a few questions....
What is the temp range on these .5 Japan Infinity nitro engines supposed to be?
I am getting temps around 270-290 *F. I am getting a little smoke and more oil than smoke out the stinger. I tried to rich'n it up but it starts 4-stroke'n. So I leaned it out till it quits 4-stroke'n. These engines are more finiky than larger ones(.12, ect..) to get started.
I guess I should ask AllAboutFunHobbies since these were his engines. I did win a new .5cc infinity engine off ebay a couple of days ago. I should be getting that one in soon.
But when I got it running, she was crazy fast. I just don't want to burn her up with high temps.. I am using Traxxas Top Fuel Nitro. Which I use in all of my cars and trucks. I'm still using the stock glow plug that came with the engine.
