Default New to Nitro

I picked up a redcat volcano and am in the process of doing the break in process now. I have read a lot of info regarding break in and watched many videos regarding tuning. I am using the heat cycle method for break in even though the manual recommends the old idle a tank method. Tomorrow I will be finished with the break in procedure, and will start tuning. I was really impressed with how easy it was to start my car. After priming the engine, and setting the HSN 2.5 turns out (I live at high altitude), it started with 2 pulls of the starter. Now that I have run 2 tanks worth of fuel thru it, it is a little harder to start, but I figure once I tune it, it should be a lot better. I know for sure it is running rich. The glow plug is wet when I pull it out. If not, I will replace the glow plug and go from there, but I am pretty sure it is just tuning because once it starts, I remove the glow plug ignitor, and it does not stall. I know the engine is loosening up already because I have had to turn the idle down a couple times. So far, the car has been pretty fun, but it is definitely top heavy. I am going to try adjusting the shock mount location to try and soften up the suspension a little.

I am currently using 20% nitro with 18% castor/synthetic blend oil for break in.

I plan on buying the suspension upgrade kit along with the header and tuned pipe kit that redcat sells as a package. I also plan on upgrading the tranny gears with metal, and when nessecary, I will upgrade to the traxxs clutch shoe spring. What other parts do people recommend?
