when breaking in the redcat lightning are the wheels supposed to spin

When are the wheels spinning? If they aren't touching the ground and its idling they might spin some.

they were bareley spinning it just was trying to move forward

That's normal for any nitro car. The idle should be set so it's kind of bumping like it wants to roll, but it's not quite enough RPMs yet.
