Default Volcano or Landslide

I'm looking to purchase my first nitro rc car and was interested in either of these. I was hoping for some imput on which one to buy. I realize the landslide is a bit higher end and bit more expensive. I like them both, but wasn't sure if the extra money would be worth it for the Landslide over the volcano and what to expect from either one. Any imput would be appreciated.

well since its your first rc car you should probly go with the volcano its 1 speed and and alot less can go wrong with it.i think for the cheap price you really cant go wrong and with the money you save buying the volcano you can buy some upgrades for it tuned aluminum pipe and aftermarket header, ect... you'll deffinatly have alot of fun with it even stock its very fast .

i think if you have the money start with the volcano, because it is definately a better vehicle for a begginer, and then after that you can buy the landslide or avalanche later if you want, but if you don't have a ton of extra money to fling around i would go landslide, because you will always want something bigger and faster.

I say go for the 1/8th scale even if a newbie. You can go slow. I feel the 1/8ths hold up better to abuse anyway. Personal opinion. More truck for the money.
