starting?

hi im new to rc ... kinda. iv been building radio shack eletric cars for along time but bought a nitro.
im trying to get it started. sometimes it will fire and stay idleing for a second but then it dies. if i pull it agian it wolnt work even if i dont touch the screws
what to i do!

Check the glow plug and the carb settings. Make sure you have fuel in the lines. Make very sure that the glow plug igniter is well charged. The manual I have for mine was wrong on the HSN and LSN. I'm not sure what you have so I can't tell you if it is the same or not. Check the trim on the radio also. Good luck!

Make sure the engine is primed, take the fuel line off of the muffler and blow into it till you see fuel flow into the carb...then turn your throtle trim up till you see the carb oppen a little. good luck...
