RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
Hey all,
Just got the Tornado BB Pro. I have noticed that the infinity .18 engine is a little different. I do not see a low speed adjustment screw as on the VX-18. Anyone care to enlighten me how to properly tune this engine...I'm stuck. If this has been posted before...my sincere appologies. |
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
Welcome to the forum
there is no adjustment for the low speed needle on the infinity These videos give you the basic Idea as to what needs to happen http://youtube.com/watch?v=oSmMzpZM_As http://youtube.com/watch?v=BJFsJAxNoRg |
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
thats one reason i didint buy the pro. if it had come with an sh. i would have gone pro. i think the vx. might even be better then the infinity
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
Thank you. This little engine is a tuffy to tune. No power ;ran 6 tanks trying to tune. I'll try again tomarrow.
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
I feel like I'm try to tune a .049 Cox engine....okay maybe not that bad! LOL
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
the 049 is an easy engine to tune bro, lol.. the infinty is a good engine, even though it has a single needle carb once its tuned is a good running powerful engine, not as good as the sh but not bad.

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
can i put some road tires on my tornado?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
what kind of wheel and on road tires fits on my tornado?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
any touring 1/10 rim will fit, they all pretty much have a 12mm hex
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
thanks
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
do shock waves have 12mm hex?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
Yes the do. I would say about 99% of 1/10 cars use 12mm hexes.
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
what difrence does the 02031a make it looks like a headers pipe is it better than the manifold?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
yes, its better because the exhaust can flow easier. easier flowing exhaust gases create more power, less resitatance
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
thats pretty nice i have a chrome one and a chrome tuned pipe and it sounds cool and got a little more power out of it
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
its louder?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
where can i get it?
|
RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
are you all taking about this: http://redcatracing.com/pics_gallery/02031a.jpg
