I decided I want to sell my MGT so I can get a plane. If anyone wants to buy my MGT, maybe you Marty?? I didn't show it ot you yesterday but it is pretty sick, big joes, new LRP spec .28Z with drill start that is just broken in, brand new Losi pipe and header, tons of RPM parts including wing. If anyone is ineterested in buying it OR has a RTR plane electric or nitro that is a good beginner plane but not cheap and cheasy let me know. Here ard some pics of my MGT before the engine swap. I will even throw in the old AE .21 engine, there was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted a bigger engine. PM me or email me at [email protected] I am in Phoenix, AZ. PM or email me an offer or what you have to trade. I am not looking to make money on this, just want to get enough $$ for a RTR plane or trade for a RTR plane.

Can someone give me the measurements for the fuel lines of a Monsoon. I have one on the way, and am getting steel braided fuel line for it, but I need to know what lengths they are. I need from tank to motor, and tank to tailpipe. Thanks

After you remove these four screws it just pulls off

RE: Redcat Monsoon Thread

Is the set screw on the lower end of the bowl ? if it is then thats to lock the dif, I believe you screw it in to lock it

RE: Redcats Monsoon Thread

No it is neither. The set screw diff is ONLY for removing the pin that holds the drive up to the diff case. You slide the pin out to remove the cup. That is all. To remove the diff cover (spur gear) you only remove the 4 screws that hold it down and that is it and pull it apart.

Glad someone finally got on to verify it, thats why I gave him the other link that was talking about the dif:D

hey ehroof....can you tell the advantage to aluminum clutch shoes...sry it might be a dumb question but i had to ask...thinking of getting them for my monsoon.:D

Smokeout....

Ive read that racers dont like FULL aluminum Clutch set ups (on Truggys) because they are too grabby and tires spin too much commin out of the corners on power. ( On account of most Truggys bein so overpowered).
I've seen pictures of clutch set ups where they use 2 aluminum shoes a 1 Teflon. Or 2 Teflon and 1 aluminum.

Supposedly, it offers better traction , due to SOME clutch slippage.

Just what I've read......

Well Broke a Bell Crank And Ordered One From Redcat But Do To Me Not Giving The Right Card Number... DOHO.... It Never Showed But Nick Was Nice Enough To Point That Out To Me Thanks Nick, Was Kind Of Glad Though Do To Having Put On The Dirt Guards It Was Very Hard To Get To The Bell Crank Ajustment Nut, Did A Little Looking Around On Different Rigs And Found That The Kyosho 777 st-r SERVO SAVER assembly Looked Like It Would Do The Trick, Ended Up Working Well Ajustment Nut Is On Top Now, The Assembley Also Comes With A New Idler Which You Need Because You Have To Take Off Part Number 81062 Which Is What The Redcat Bell Crank And Idler Set On, The Kyosho Bell And Idler Blot Right To The Chassis I Did Have To Put A Shim Between The Bell And Chassis As Will As The Idler To Give Them The Right Hight, End Result In Picture Now I Need Some Nice Weather To Do A Track Test.

Part 81062 Removed.

does anyone know what the torque rating on the stock sreering servo is? i know i should replace it before it breaks, what servo would be best for a guy who's on a tight budget set by his wife?

I would go with a Hitec 645MG which is 140 oz. or a JR 650 which is 140oz too. I use both and have been great at only about 35-40 dollars. JR has a 3 year warranty and Hitec a 2 year warranty.
