Default Qhor problems

Flew my Qhor today for the first time!!! I noticed that I need ALOT of control throw on the ailerons. Is that normal? It took full throws on duel rates to get it to turn. Could not even do a roll with it.... What did I do wrong

Thank for your help

I have my ailerons setup as far as the servo travel.I have the pushrods in the outter most hole on the servo arm.On the aileron contol horns the clevis is in the bottom hole.Make sure your ailerons are set neutral with the fuse.Yes the Qhor roll rate is pretty slow, but if you stiffen the wing up a bit it improves a little.

Try flattening the airfoil. Your airfoil should really be no more than an inch at the most. The larger airfoils have tended to "blank" the ailerons.

Default Rons

1st make sure your CG and balance left and right are correct
2nd SEt throws to as much as possible make sure control surfaces
are large SHE will roll. at this point the plane has no other option but to roll if its in the air.

I have 2 Qhors, both with two aileron servos instead of the one. They are placed out in the middle of the wing, and both Qhor's will roll very fast and tight. My Qhor set up like this will roll faster than anything I've flown yet. This is the most fun plane I've had yet!

qhor rolls

I have an as per plan 24" qhor with a 46LA that rolls twice before I can slam the stick all the way over, extra 50% wide ailerons helped heaps.

Keep on Spaddin'.
