has anyone done some one stop shopping at a home depot or lowes? do they have everything you need to get started including the coroplast? looking forward to flying one of these things and seeing what all the hoopla is about. hopefully i'll be hooked on these so i won't have the thought of killing a $300 plane in the back of my head while i'm flying. thanks.

You should be able to get most of the things you will need. You will be able to get screws, gutter pipe, aluminum for landing gear and cutting board. Don't expect to get any coro.

Regarding the gutter pipe, it looks like it is being made different now. It now has a grey inside and seems thinner with a lot more flex. I was able to get the older stuff (white inside) by searching to the back of the stack. I was wondering if anyone noticed the difference in the gutter pipe?

I haven't been to Lowes yet simply because I am waiting for the first one to be built but I imagine it is the same situation.

There's only one store in my area that carries PVC gutter so I'm going to go whipe them out before they get a new order.

Captain351, if there is a Trader Horn in your area, try there for the PVC pipe. I get mine from the Trader Horn in South Butler.

Good price on it too.
