C'mon Jimmy get with the program man. Don't make them search for the link.
I'm hoping the weather is good for racing and camping out at the field.

It sounds like there will be a pretty big turn out from the bay area. Last count was about 8.

2 of us you already know, Mark Sumich and myself 'Bulldog' are planning on being at this one. I have season points to make up. It looks like Rick 'Bay Area Bad Boy' Culver will be missing this one as well.

It should be fun.

Hi Guys,

It looks like I am going to come up to Sac on the Friday. I am going to Chico to pick up some airplane fuel (If you are interested on getting in on the deal PM me your email address), so I want to make it a part of the trip up. Can I truck camp at the field on Friday night and Saturday night?

Thanks

James

Soitenly!
You are welcome to join the folks that camp out on the race weekend.
I plan to be there Friday also. But I am camping out on Saturday night only.
The Saturday night dinner gathering is a good fun time.
Glad to hear you can make it. Though I'm not sure if we'll have any bangers and chips for ya

Just so's ya all know.
The dinner is Bring yer own grub.
The club supplies the place and the grills.
The rest is up to the individuals. There is a bit of a potluck thing that happens. But you need to make sure you're in communication with the others to organize things.

So, I'm thinking of coming up and playing on the 6th, but to do so, I'll have to change the motor out of my racer since it is setup for the unlimited in Morgan Hill. Anyone have a YS110 that they want to sell?

LET THE SMACK TALKING BEGIN!!!

Skids, I sure hope that brit spit of yours can stay off my line. After all my blunt nosed bomb has already collected a dent in the leading edge from the previous race.

And Serge, your little spitty better hope that Jimmys screaming in your ear will make your little .63 run strong.

Cause I ain't missin this one boyz!

Tommy,

Good to see that you'll be there. I really don't think that my plane being on your line will be an issue to you. I'll be behind you and won't run up your tail pipe......... That is as I lap you. AND, don't you worry about Sergio and his .63 powered Silver racer. He'll be just fine as long as he listens to his caller.

Three weeks to go. "Let's get ready to rumble!"

I bought a silver supermarine type plane from a guy at the Rc Country swap meet. it was silver in color and had red strips on it., it was equiped with air retracts, and was set up for a rear exhaust nelson. Do any of you know might know who this guy was. he was going to give me his number but some reason i didnt take it down. I would like to get in contact with him about some of his other planes for sale. It is a very nice looking plane and with a weak 60 lx it runs about 140-145 on the level.

Hey airraptor,
Was that plane parked in the middle of a bunch of airplanes and hobby supplies that looked to be inventory from a closed hobby shop?
If so that individual might be located thru members of the Woodland Davis Aeromodelers. I think his name is Jeff.

That's the guy. He used to own a hobby shop up in the Roseville area.
He was the president of the Woodland/Davis Aeromodelers for a few years. Ask around there for him.

Tommy,

Roy was there.... I think he had to move his car when everyone else did because some a-hole complained about the parking to the local boys in blue. I believe he left right before you showed up. Go figure.

You ready to do some testing. If you need some help let me know. Like I told Bushman, I'm available to help up to one week prior to the race. After that the walls go up and the support ceases......

Got a hotel room reserved so I will be able to stick around Saturday night and BBQ and BS. If it is kind of "potlucky" should I bring a side dish or is beer just good enough?

I can't come down on Saturday so I plan to join you guys on Sunday morning. What time does the field open for practice?
