Hey bulldog, didn't you bay area guys try stealing all the glory at the last race? Let me remind you how it went....

Gold
1st-Jimmy Skids, Sacramento
2nd-Dave Sullivan, Sacramento
3rd-Tommy Gun, Ione

Silver
1st-Steve Brown, Sacramento
2nd-Casey Smith, Sacramento
3rd-George Reidenbach, Sacramento

Bronze
1st-Casey Smith, Sacramento
2nd-Matt Campi, (don't know)
3rd-Bianca DaSilva, Elk Grove

I hope all the bay area guys come prepared because we are ready for war! Again! We defend our titles in our house! Good Luck my friend, you're gonna need it!
Well I intend to car pool up there with Matt Campi, but the results of last time are not valid as we were just calibrating. This time look out, we even intend to bring another SAM bad boy to help us out.

Not only will you lose to bay area guys, but an Englishman at that.

TBH Kev your dad would enjoy going to the races and well your mom will need time to do girly stuff with Jess, like baby clothes shopping.

Come on Casey you gonna take that from a Limey Lobsterback [sm=48_48.gif]

Casey you need to strip that Stang, put a new color scheme on in and name it "Ol Hickory" and wax James' A&% with that thing. Show him what happened that last time those blokes thought they could get the best of us.

Here is some inspiration for ya !

Just a very busy weekend guys. Sorry. Cant do.
The excuse list is long !!!!

As for my wife Casey, mine is about 5 months along. Due December 1st. We found out it is a boy so a new pylon racer in the making.

Hey SAMguys, if you want to distract james a little while he is racing, about half way through the race, throw a BIG MAC out on the runway. That gets his attention everytime!!! .

Oh wow! December 1st! I figured that my wife would be 5 1/2 months at the race. Our baby girl is due November 29th. Two days before your baby. That's crazy! Congrats on the boy. It seems very appropriate that we are having a girl because I'm surrounded by girls. My wife, two step daughters, two dogs that are all girls so we are excited for another one. Congrats again!

Casey,

Congrats to you as well. There is way to many girls over here as well. I was excited to learn we are having a boy but I would have loved a girl as much.

5-5-1/2 months....it is still to long...LOL..... I should be able to make the 2-day race if all is well. Should be fun. Look forward to racing you guys again. I hear Morgan Hill is going to do a Warbird Race on October2nd in lieu of a T-34 race so hopefully you guys can come down.

Not that I have seen the video yet!

Do you mean the war of 1812, didn't we win that just like this race. My plane is flying well and will be race trimmed this weekend.

And to top it all off I will be winning with a p-51 stang.

Bulldog-

You trying to impress Tommy Gun by flying a Mustang? You know he has a secret love for that plane. At the last SAM race I believe he purposely damaged his 190 just so he could fly a heat with Sergio's VooDoo. You couldn't wipe the grin off his face. I think he said it was the best flying airplane he ever competed with. For that reason alone I will never let him fly my Spitfire.... no need in him learning that there is even a better plane than a P51.......

..... utt oh..... Now I've done it. Now the trash talk can move up to the next level.

Beating?.... You call the wussified , candy azzed pillow fighting you guys are conducting in here a "beating".
ROFLMAO !!!!
Well then youngster you got a real surprise waiting for you out there in the real world.

All I can say is that it's a good thing for you that I'm so focused on getting this P-40 finished. Otherwise you be in for a verbal assault the likes of which hasn't been seen since you're too young to remember when.

You bedwettin, nunpunchin, puppykickin, seatsniffin, scabpickin, sad excuse for a mustang flyer! And beyond that, you fly like a girl!
You better bring some midol to the next race, cause you're gonna need it lady.

Considering how well Biancia flew at the last race that might be a compliment, and for Mr litefoot smith totally not worth it. Maybe a comment about how his mustang flew like it was one of those fat, ugly slow round nosers.

Tommy are you going to be flying your secret love again this race.

On a serious note, I am really looking forward to this race, I can't wait to get into the air with all you guys again.

Give them a Snickers bar and some 50% nitro and they will be just fine.

Glad to see people getting the race faces on. I will be coming up from the bay area with James barring any issues with test flying the new airplane tomorrow. Looks like I will be getting into Sac Friday afternoon. Anyone going to be at the field friday and saturday practicing?

Furriners! Sheesh!

And apparently The Sandlot is not a familiar movie to the younger crowd.

OK back to talking airplanes and trash talk..................just got back from the test hop. I have to say I am quite pleased with myself. On the third run I was flying a rather loose course and was getting around 15 second lap times. Not super scientific but pretty sure it will come close to the silver breakout time, With more time on the engine and some CG adjustment I will be right there whith her.

Wait a minute, I thought I had the market cornered on flying Macchis in the races.[sm=cry_smile.gif]

At 15 second laps you are going to be flying Bronze with me brother, not Silver. I guess 2 Macchis in a heat aint too shabby. If we get Leadfoot and Limey in a the same heat we can just smack them around a little.

If thats the case I'm sure I will enjoy leading you around the course lol. I think she has more speed in her. I'm running an APC 9x7 sport prop, 10% nitroand hearing a slight gurgle as the engine is brand new with only 3 runs on it. Going to get as many flights as I can during the week and try a fewdifferent props and some 15%nitro. CGis a tad aft and elevator throw was a bit touchy so I lost some speed in the turns too. I think overall lots of room for improvement.
