Hi guys,
I have a set of three view dwg drawings for a model. Can anyone tell if it is possible to create fuselage sections that I can use to make a fuselage plug using these three views?
If its possible I will get them laser cut. Thanks in advance.

Hi
If not easy say you yes or not...depent of what aircraft is it. It is a scale? Do you have some picture of the real thing? I design model aircraft, you can see my site www.artecnc.com.ar . I work with Autocad and Rhino. And I did some plugs to then make a fiber glass fuse, Scandalous an Brio fuses, and cowls to CA Model Extras, and many others. If you send me the files maybe I can help you. [email protected]
Edited to fix the link- BMatthews

molo_30,
The three view drawing shows only the width and the height of each section of the fuselage.
You will need to guess or hand-draw the rest of the shape of each section.
I hope your area is out of the flooding.

My thought too...
For is the bottom? square, Vee'd, oval (or rounded) sort of need to know these things.
Was someone a good 1-2 years ago here, that wanted to build some odd-ball B-25 and was complaining he did not have enough sections to determine shape at a certain station.

Antonio, I fixed the link in your first post. You had a "," at the end of the address as sentance punctuation. If you post a link at the end of a sentance you MUST use a space after it to separate the comma or period from the link. I also replaced a bunch of your commas with periods and capitals to separate the thoughts into proper sentances. Hope you don't mind. It makes your post easier to read.
Examples- Note that I included a space in the "w ww" part to make the links non functional just for this example.
Go to w ww.link.com. - this won't work as the period for the end of the sentance gets stuck to the link address
Go to w ww.link.com . - This will work because the link is separated from the period by a space.
Molo 30, if your drawings do not have any cross sections then there is no way to accurately produce them. Oh sure, you can guess and they'll likely be close enough. Especialy if you use a lot of pictures of the real ones that have lots of shadow line details on them so you can get a good feel for the shapes and how they transition from one area of the plane to another. But such guessing at the right shape won't cut it for world class scale competition. It would be good enough for sunday scale flying though.
Another thought is that smaller 3 views that do not have multiple cross sections are often not all that accurate for the stuff that they do show. It helps to find multiple drawings and compare them. So consider the source of your drawing before you trust it.
