Need Mechanical Retract Installation Diagrams
Hey folks,
I'm drawing up a .15-sized version of a plane with "Super Pacer" origins and am planning to install retracts. I'm using the [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUY31]Great Planes Mechanical Retracts (.10 size)[/link] as it's the right scale and weight for my size plane. Problem is I've never done retracts before and a search on this forum produced only 4 hits, all of which were for foam installs.
I'm hoping someone can post pictures, drawings, or links so I can incorporate this into my plans. Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

if it isa built up wing you just mount either rails or a retract plate out of ply wood and p;osition it where the normal gear would be making sure that when extended the axle is under the l.e for conventional gear.the ply plate type mount used in foam wings is the esiest to install and will cause less distortion.

EG,
This is what I have done, I have downloaded different building instructions from various manufacturers of kits that use retracts. I have also checked out at pictures of different builds with retracts at personal websites and here on RCU.
There are plenty of ideas where you can adapt from.
Hope it helps.
