[8D] Hello Water Freaks! Another sport scale twin seaplane is out there for your building and flying pleasure. It's a Grumman Goose with a 50" wingspan, (2) .15-.25's and it's made out of balsa and lite ply. This plane is offered as a plan only. Go to www.checksixplans.net Click on Grumman Goose and you'll have all the information. I received my plan and it looks like a fairly straight forward build with minimal detail. Good luck!

I will probably use (2) O.S. 25's, the same engines that Check Six Plans used for their prototype. Read their own first flight test. In their own critique they said the .25's were overpowering the plane but I can live with that. If not .25's, .15's would be the absolute minimum. And I will use O.S. for their reliability and also it's the best 2 stroke engine on the market. You pay a little more but you don't have to mess with the engine(s) once they're broken in.

Freddy,
Sounds like fun.
Also, I agree with you 1,000,000 per cent on the quality and value of OS. Thousands of trouble free flights have let me to the same conclusion as you.
Keep us posted on how everything comes out.
Oh, I'm only 50 minutes away from you. I'd love to see it go when it is done.
