Default Should I fix it or kit it?

Looking for some scratch builders input
My OS2U Kingfisher is due for another serious overhaul, but I'm not sure if it's worth it
It taken a few crashes over the 6 years I've been flying it and it's getting a little on the heafty side
If I repair it again it will just get even heavier

I was considering taking th fuslage and making a mold,
I have the plugs for the canopies allready
Who would be interested in a short kit if I put one on the market?
Fiberglass fuse and floats with foam core wings,
Anybody else into scale WWll heavy weights? or is it just me?

That is a GREAT looking plane. It deseves an overhaul - whatever it takes! But then I'm a sentimental slob.

Current I have a yz120 in it, but I flew it with a os91 surpass at one time(marginal)
The 120 is the right engne for the plane, it weighs almost 14lbs, it was under 13lbs when it was new
The plane is all built up framing and glassed
But If I did a new lighter Fiberglass kit and get it in around 10-11lbs a good 60 2stk or 91 4stk would fine.

I'm just thinking before it hits the ground and is destroyed, Which always happens sooner or later, it might be better to make a mold out of it.
