2 Ugly

Does anyone know anything about a seaplane called the 2 Ugly? It was in Model Airplane News several years ago and the plans are still available. It may be a flying wing with a fixed auxillary stab. It also appears to be kin to the Beast except it has 2 floats instead of 1 & wing tip floats.

Yea, I remember it. I think it was designed by Jim Sullivan of Sullivan Products. His reports of it's flying ability were glowing but I have never seen on fly so I can't comment. I can think of lots of other planes I would sooner build. I once saw a Midwest Holy Smoke on floats, now that was something else. Inverted passes dragging the fin in the water.
So many planes, so little time.

Thanks.
I ordered the 2 Ugly plans from Model Airplane News just to take a look at it. I also ordered a Beast kit. I have a Fazer on floats, see avitar, but, even though it flies well, it is a little tame compared to my fun fly planes. I though maybe these 2 might be more active. The 2 Ugly has twin floats while the Beast has a center float and tips, which I have never flown before, hence my interest.
