I never saw a Hog Bipe on floats but regular Astro Hogs are great on 40" Floats. The red Hog in the foreground belongs to Fred Mulholland, AMA district VP.

One of the local flyers here has one, Dolan Parker, come down to the Smith lake float fly next saturday, the 10th and it'll be there. Do a search for Smith Lake Rd. near Concord NC. If it doesn't come up I can send directions...

I flew one at the skymasters midwest float fly last summer and it lew very well with a set of BJ 36" floats. it sits kind of low in the water though so I would recommend some spray rails to help get it on the step.Landings are beautiful,no bounce at all.

Jim,

Was your photo taken at the Florida Float Flyers location?

Yep. Photo was at the FLFLFL pond in Dover, FL. Just east of Tampa, near Plant city if you're looking on a map. About as perfect a flying site as there ever was. About 4 of the members (retirees) meet every Thursday morning to groom the facility so it's ready for Saturday's flying session. It's immaculate.
