Conventional floats work fine on a LzB. Probably better than the factory teardrop floats. If you have the .15-size, use something approximating 21" for the float length. I had the Big LzB and used 32" floats with complete success. Mount the float to the existing axle. add another axle to the bottom of the fuselage for the rea mount. Slide the wire fore-and-aft to set the incidence before you lock it to the airplane. I never used a water rudder.

I made my 40" Bee floats with 1/8" hard balsa using Lazy Bee WING RIBS for the pattern. Works great! Just cut a rib and invert it with the flat bottom on the top and you will get the idea. Took all of an hour to build them.

It's one sheet, and fairly simple, but big! My scanner at the office won't work...let me see what I can do over the weekend. I'll try to send a scanned image with a scale so you can blow them up accordingly.

Dicknadine,
Lucky for you that hurricane Ivan swerved east. Unfortunately my sister in Pensacola lost her house.
I wore out two Big LazyBees while using a set of 32" long BJ floats. BJ floats are no longer available, but Plane Fun Floats are darned close. The Teardrop Clancy float design is cute, but does not offer a performance advantage.

I have the pictures of the float plans for you. As I said earlier, I have a lot of pictures, but not sure how to post them here. Send me your email adress, and I can attach them.
